Olga Kern

Winning the gold medal at the Van Cliburn Competition in 2001, with a remarkable interpretation of Rachmaninoff's 3rd Piano Concerto , gave Olga Kern legendary status in the piano world. At 17 years old, she had already won 1st prize in the Rachmaninoff Competition, in Russia, but it was after winning in the United States that she launched herself onto the international stage. In her first recital at Casa da Música, she presents the audience with her favorite composer.
