under the auspices of the Municipality of Athens
– 860-seat garden theater with daily performances on Filopappou Hill
– Ensemble of 75 dancers, instrumentalists and singers
– Dance school with lessons for beginners, advanced or children, seminars and lectures for experienced dancers. Dance teacher training. Courses and seminars in English
– Collection of 2,000 museum costumes, jewelry, embroidery and other folk art items worn in performances
– Special lessons in traditional embroidery, rebetika dances, dance therapy
– Program of educational visits for primary schools
– Researchprograms of Ethnography, History and Sociology of Dance, with international collaborations
– Ancient Greek dance study group
– Library and archive of recordings, films, photographs and discs
– Publications : over 53 discs, 15 cassettes, 7 video cassettes, 30 books in various languages, 8 CD-ROMs, 5 DVDs
– Manufacture or rental of copies of the original costumes of the collection
– Organization of the World Congress for Dance Research and the Anapali and Emmelia festivals
