Nostalghia was founded in 2000 and is legally represented by theatre directors George Simonas and Tonia Ralli. The company has produced a wide repertoire of plays, original perfomances, live installations and exhibitions, in addition to running a variety of workshops and research groups over the years.

Based in Athens, Greece since its beginnings, it acquired its own performance space in 2011, RABBITHOLE Art & Performace space in Metaxourgeio (Athens), which has hosted the company's main productions, as well as various other greek and foreign artists.
