An early introduction to music was something I welcomed enthusiastically, in primary school I took part in the school choir. At around 8, I started classical guitar lessons after watching a rock band playing on T.V. Since then, I have been taking my music a lot more seriously but with the same joy and excitement. I then started modern guitar and bass guitar. At secondary school, I was the main vocalist and guitarist for many school ensembles, including: inter-school and national competitions, social events and choir bands, as well as my own band. These commitments were taken very seriously and I am now grateful to have had the opportunity to gain such an understanding of different situations and applications for my instrument.
By high school I was part of a band as lead singer and acoustic guitar player where we were playing gigs around Nicosia to large crowds. I auditioned for two T.V. singing shows where I got through to the final live shows.
Not only have I had experience playing my guitar, but I have also written my own solo material on acoustic guitar.
I having been studying several courses since the age of 8 at my music school (National music school of Cyprus) these being classical guitar, modern guitar, bass guitar, vocal, music theory and I also tried saxophone for a term. I have accomplished three years of Greek music theory to grade 3, five years of vocal lessons to grade five and modern guitar to grade five. I have learned and developed skills by singing and playing in the different events organized by my music school, which have broadened my abilities in music performance.
Outside of music, my greatest interest has to be photography.
