Set dresser at our daily soap GTST
We are immediately looking for a set dresser/proprietor for the production of GTST. This is a combination position, in which you, as a set dresser, provide the props and props for your own recording week. This position consists of a preparation and recording week. During the preparation week you break down the script and ensure that all props and props are made, purchased or arranged. Following that you have a studio week. Here you fulfill the function of set dresser on set. You work closely with your assistant, the DTP person and the intern. As a GTST set dresser, you are part of a young, dynamic team of nine people.
What are you going to do:
Reading script and making breakdown from a script.
Making, arranging and purchasing props and props.
Managing an assistant set dresser.
Managing DTP person.
Managing an intern.
Participate in styling sets in consultation with art director and main art department.
Preparing outdoor recordings/location sets.
Set dressing on set in studio and on location
Monitoring your own budget and associated administrative work.
Converting sets.

Has at least 2 years of work experience as a set dresser and/or proprietor and knowledge of the TV production process.

Has completed training in film/interior styling or similar.
